Healthy food that’s tasty – is a pipe dream for most foodies, and Gourmet Treats is a brand that works on bringing this food fantasy to reality. One of the brand’s main objective was to introduce gourmet products into regular Indian households.  And they were doing so by introducing Gourmet versions of popular Spices from famed cities of India, for example – Amritsari Tikka Masala, Bombay Pav Bhaji Masala, Dilli ki Dal Masala.

Being foodies at upto we were totally down to package these delicious sounding products (secret confession – maybe also because we were hoping for a product testing). Anyway, sometimes the formula of 2 + 2 = 2 raised to the power of 2, just makes for elegant design. So we listened to the universe and illustrated the distinguishing design elements of each Masala’s respective city, with an illustrated hint of the ingredients, into the package design. The result was classy, fun and fresh – gourmet-looking desi products, easily distinguishable on any shelf.
